About the venue
From homegrown bands to international acts, dance parties and uni club events, we know what it takes to put on a great night. With a capacity of 600 people and a license until 3am, we’ve got everything you need.
The Underground features a stage, built-in event lighting, a projector screen, in-house sound system and is located only a 10-minute walk from Central Station in Sydney.
Private & social events
Featuring wide open areas, natural ceiling light and its very own bar and kitchen, this space is ideal for all social events from music festivals, live band shows, comedy nights to farewells, casual networking events and more.
Live music gigs
Throughout the nineties and noughties, The Underground was the go-to venue, playing host to a diverse range of genres for both emerging and established artists, with shows from Silverchair, Front End Loader, Nancy Vandal, Peking Duk and more.
Looking for a bigger space? Talk to us about using adjacent spaces such as The Loft on Broadway and more for an event capacity of up to 1,200 people.
